I really like this bag. The handles remind me of the un-grocery bag on purl bee's blog. I have not made anything yet out of anything unexpected.....i did use fabric from a cotton nightgown for the lining of a tote bag. But that's as far as my adventuring goes.

I am so glad you like it. On my side bar there is also a little dolls quilt I made with selvedge. I just cut it off each piece of fabric when I buy them and pop them in a shoebox till inspiration hits.

It's quite resourceful. I have cut some selvedge off, but thrown it away, wondering if I could use it for something...i save all of my scraps, even the smallest bits. And now i know i can use it!

I think this is a great idea. I know I'm going to save my selvedges from now on!

What a fabulous idea - who would have thought to use those!
